The office has been in the middle of a transition – putting the finishing touches on our last school year, and getting ready for the upcoming one. We are buzzing with preparation, anticipation, and expectation of this year. We believe God will do something big. For our incoming students, whether first or second year, we are so excited for what God is getting ready to do in your lives! There is a lot to do in terms of getting ready for this year – you are about to enter a new city, a new season, a new everything. We know it can be a lot, so we have given you four quick tips to prepare for your new season:
Yes, I said it! Pray! Philippians 4:6 says it best when it says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Pray for direction, vision, and a goal for what you want this year to look like. Pray for which program you want to be in. Pray for the other students you will meet and the friendships you will form. We are praying expectantly for this year, and so should you! That is what sets VBC apart from the rest.
2. Fill out a housing app
Yeah, all the paperwork isn’t fun, but trust us… it’s worth it! Our VBC Housing is amazing, and you don’t want to find out that we’re out of space. At VBC Housing, you get the campus life experience like no other. Fully furnished apartments, full kitchens, and utilities included in rent?! You couldn’t ask for more. You can access the housing application here.
3. Add us on Social Media

We love seeing what you’re up to, so if you’re posting anything VBC related, like showing off your acceptance letter to the world, packing up your stuff, or on the road trip to Tulsa, make sure to post it and use the hashtag #welcometoVBC.
4. Get Excited!
This is a brand new chapter in your life! You are about to embark on a great new adventure! Get excited for what God is going to do in and through you as you step out in faith to complete God’s divine purpose for your life. You are going to walk out of these doors two years from now equipped for the amazing adventure God has in store. So let me say it again…get excited!
“Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands.” Isaiah 43:19 (MSG)
